Sun and Warm Today - Plus work

The Sun is shining and outside it is quite warm. I am looking forward to the end of the work day so I can go for short run. The backyard is almost exposed from the winters snow which I recall came in January and never left. The front yard sees very little sun this time of year, so there is still about a foot of snow there.

Tonight I hope to have some fun with the kids before its time to sleep and do it all over again.

Soon the water will unfreeze and with a few weeks of warmth, drysuit sailing should be possible

Warmer Weather is almost here

Ran past the swamp last night and saw some signs of the end of winter. It was warm, and as the sun set there were birds flocking into a small section of un-frozen water. Next week or so Jason (#2 son) starts his project to build a new sign near the south entrance of Mantua to hold signs for all of the service groups. Much still needs to be done, but thankfully many in teh comunity have stepped up to donate materials including steel, motar and bricks.

He needs to be complete before his 18th birthday in June, so we will need to start on the project soon.
